About

A life held together on purpose.

I’m Marcus. I live in Singapore with Eleanor and our daughters, Mikaela and Meaghan. Father, husband, builder, follower of Jesus — still learning how those names share the same week.

01

Faith & Community

I follow Jesus. That is the centre, not a side note I mention for completeness.

We gather with other families in a home church — meals, prayer, kids around, Scripture read out loud. It is ordinary, and it is the most honest form of church I know. I don’t have a platform here. I have people.

If faith is foreign to you, you are still welcome on this site. I write as a Christian because that is who I am, not because you need to become one before we can talk.

03

Family & Fatherhood

Eleanor and I are raising Mikaela and Meaghan. Fatherhood, for me, is less a philosophy than a practice: being home, being present, being the kind of man I hope they remember.

The rest of the juggle is real. Work has deadlines. The girls have bedtimes. I run because the body has to come along for the ride, and because a long run is one of the few quiet rooms I get.

I write about this at @marcuswxyz — not as an expert. As a father in the middle of it.

Work & the rest

By day I work in skills and workforce development in Singapore. Before that I spent years around youth entrepreneurship, mentoring, and community building. The through-line is people growing into what they’re capable of.

In the margins I build small tools. The first one worth showing is SailorPath — that’s the Lab.
